How does it work ?
Mediapapa will create an health index of each of your image.
This index will take in consideration theses criterias :
There is a title to the media, containing a space
The image size/size ratio, a too heavy image for it’s size will lower the media health
The image format, we recommend AVIF or WEBP for better performance and size
The image have a DPI adapted to the web
The image is in RGB and not CMYK
The image have duplicates or not
The image have at least a tag associated for research purposes
Where is stored the health score ?
The health score is stored into a dedicated database containing each of the criteria status, allowing to calculate the media library health score.
What are the different score states ?
There is 4 states for your image :
“Perfect !” your image respect all the recommandations of Mediapapa : good job
“Ok…” your image is almost perfect, there is some fields to fill and you are almost at perfect score.
“Bad!” there is room to improve the score, fill fields and optimize your image
“Very Bad!” you have everything to fill into the image, check the duplicates

How to improve the score ?
Mediapapa guide you to the steps to a great media !
Go to your media list, or a post edition and let Mediapapa guide you, click on “Edit” link in the media list.
When the modal shows up, you will see something like this :

On the right side of the modal you have the media details, all the actions and fields to fill in.
Duplicates and file format
On the screenshot 2 ways to improve your media here is to choose a duplicate to use and compress your image with a better format.

Deduplicate your media and compress it, you will increase your media health.
Fields filling
Just bellow theses fields, you can edit the media fields easily.
Mediapapa will point to you the fields that influence the score calculation, here this is the image title and the image tags.

You can ask AI to fill the title, caption and alt text. The tags are up to you !
Once a field filed, you will have the field validate for example the title :

Once your media is optimized, you’ll have all the informations about the optimization.
